Meet Ashley Meyer, LPC, RPT - Helping Children Feel Safe, Understood, and Empowered

Hi, I’m Ashley Meyer, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with more than 11 years of experience supporting children and adolescents as they overcome challenges, strengthen resilience, and reach their full potential. I believe every child has the ability to grow and thrive when they are given the right tools, encouragement, and a safe environment to express themselves.

If your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, trauma, or difficulties at school or with peers, I provide a warm and supportive space where they can feel heard, valued, and empowered. My approach combines creativity, compassion, and evidence-based practices to help children develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build stronger connections with the world around them.

What I Offer

I specialize in child and adolescent therapy using developmentally appropriate, creative, and relationship-centered approaches that meet children where they are emotionally and developmentally.

Play Therapy & Sandplay – Helping children communicate and process their emotions through play, a natural and powerful language for healing and self-expression.

Filial Therapy – Strengthening the parent-child relationship by involving caregivers in therapeutic play strategies that support connection and communication.

Person-Centered & Strength-Based Therapy – Creating a space where the child’s voice is valued while building on their natural abilities and strengths.

Trauma-Informed & Culturally Sensitive Care – Recognizing and honoring each child’s experiences, identity, and family background while supporting healing and growth.
