About John

Feeling stuck, as if your efforts for change are met with spinning wheels and persistent exhaustion, is a shared human experience. In the intricate journey of life, when overwhelmed by anxiety, intense emotions, or the weight of unresolved trauma, the yearning for a positive shift becomes paramount.

Empathetic and seasoned, I bring a unique life trajectory to our counseling sessions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC), my approach centers on fostering a therapeutic relationship where your comfort and trust are prioritized.

Having transitioned from a 17-year ownership of a construction company to a counseling career, I hold a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University. My primary goal is to create an environment where you feel at ease, trusting in the therapeutic process.

Whether you're facing life transitions, identity exploration, overwhelming anxiety, perfectionism, intense emotions, or the need to resolve trauma, I am here to provide you with the space to build and bolster your confidence. Together, we'll navigate challenges, gaining new insights and perspectives to pave the way for lasting positive change. Your well-being is not just a priority—it's the focal point of every session. If you're ready to embark on a journey toward feeling better, reach out, and let's collaboratively work towards a brighter tomorrow.

I am married and have two daughters. In my free time I enjoy cooking with my wife, fishing with friends, raising Weimaraner’s, reading and traveling with my family.
